The part of my report dealing with the general work of the Living Costs Committee is brief for two reasons; my spare tiem the past year has been given to housing study; and, the Living Costs Committee consists only of myself, except that Miss E. Ruth Rockwood, head of the Portland reference library has watched throughout the year for news of muscle choals and other particularly vital public projects.
