First comic, three men are in a office, "signs to order." One man is sitting down handing a bill to two men standing up. One of the men is pointing to a sign that reads, "Down with the Capitalists, Comrades Revolt." The caption reads, "Knock a dollar off that bill and we'll give you all our business when the revolution comes." Second comic, four bearded men are sitting around a table. There are signs posted on the wall that read : "Down with the blood suckers" ; "Workers arise! Down with everything" ; "Work for the Revolution" ; "Crush Capital." The caption reads, "The WPA won't approve our project .. they say we'll have to overthrow the government at our own expense..." The comics are possibly part of the comic series "Grin and Bear it" by George Lichty. Date is circa Organization : People : Key Words : communism ; political comic ; comic ; WPA
