An article that reports a talk given by Mayor Carson and C. C. Crow editor of Pacific Coast Lumber Digest at the Portland Presidents' council. Both men : deplored what they termed lackadaisical attitudes on the part of citizens directly affected by the labor dispute : attack Harry Bridges and Harold Pritchett. Mayor Carson had harsh words for the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board) which he says, "My police department was indicted and condemned by the board but neither my chief nor I was consulted."
