The paper was published by James G. Endicott. The Canadian Far Eastern was the successor to the anti - Kuomintang "Shanghai Newsletter." While in China, Endicott became disillusioned with the Kuomintang government which he believed was corrupt. Endicott then became a supporter of the Communist Party of China. Issue number 121 regards Tibet. The newsletter claims that the there is not much truth in the general western press story the Tibet is an example of wicked communism.
