William Browne complied an excerpt form a Memo sent by the Education Department of the Communist Party to all district Communist Party headquarters regarding their activities during visits of the Freedom Train to various cities and Freedom of Rededication Week. Browne compiled this information from materials that were sent from the American Legion. This file also includes a letter from the American Legion Department of California regarding the Freedom Train and the Communist's plan for a sabotage - smear campaign against the Freedom Train. The letter includes a memo sent to all Communist district educational directors regarding the Freedom Train (this is the memo Browne took the excerpt from).
