Announcing the creation of the Industrial Relations Association of British Columbia. The purpose of the organization is to secure and maintain peace and harmony in the operation of industrial and commercial enterprises in British Columbia. The need for the organization arose because business leaders were alarmed of the recurring industrial disturbances over the past few years, especially when it became apparent that these were due to the influence of the Communist party.
