First leaflet, "Can Governor Martin be Defeated? explains why Martin should be defeated and invites people to attend a meeting where they can hear Elmer A. Benson, Minnesota's Farmer - Labor Governor and Dr. Carl D. Thompson of Chicago. The second leaflet, is the declaration adopted in Convention, Oregon Commonwealth Federation, Portland, Oregon, December 19, 1937. The declaration calls for the defeat of Martin.
