March 18, 1935 : speakers school each Saturday ; selling of advertising cards ; United front with the International Longshoreman's Association ; committee to form United Fronts with all AF of L unions ; Sellwood dance ; explosion of Kirk Smith ; protest demanding the relies of Minnie Shanks. March 31, 1935 : May day Parade ; United Front for social insurance ; trade with local grocers ; open hearing at city council for Minnie Shanks ; relief grievance committee ; fund raise for the Voice of Action. April 8, 1935 : Membership, new and retaining present ; may Day conference ; deportation proceeding against Baer ; chicken dinner ; Minnie Shanks freed. April 15, 1935 : 13 Albina workers arrested for protesting their relief case ; May Day parade. April 22, 1935 : Harry L. Gross and Irwin Goodman were made members ; picket at Albina Relief Station. April 29, 1935 : United front with trade unions ; lumber workers strike. May 13, 1935 : decrease in wages ; attack by the bosses on living standards ; passage of the Workers Unemployment and Social Insurance Bill H.R. 2827. May 20, 1935 : organized unemployed labor ; no scab against the Lumber Union. May 27, 1935 : Lumber workers strike ; dance.
