Letter is addressed to the membership of the American Federation of Labor and the Unemployed - Organized and Unorganized. The letter is responding to the fact that the Central Labor Council voted to withdraw its' delegates from the Joint Action Committee. The letter goes on to argue that the Joint Action Committee is committed to work with A.F. of L. and is not in favor of dual unionism. Joint Action Committee is composed of Delegates form : national Economic Welfare Federation ; Central Federation Against Unemployment ; Electrical Workers Union ; Veteran's Union ; State Employees Union ; International Longshoremen's Association.
