Doug Udell Films

Two 16mm reels of home movies of Portland in the filmed by Doug Udell's grandfatherin 1942. Film is centered around his grandparents home at 1538 N. Church St and Killingsworth, with film of traffic and George's Corner Tavern. It also contains s footage of a big snow storm and parts of the Rose Parade. Also included are two 8mm films of Udell's uncle's building of a trimaran sailboat in Eugene, it's trip to Corvallis, down the Willamette, through the Willamette Falls Locks of Oregon City to Portland, south down the coast to Coos Bay, further south to California, and then to the Figi Islands in 1966-1967. Must be reformatted before use.
