Date is circa. Milwaukee fire officials. The following information was taking from the article on the same page. Chief Foley was injured in action at the Third Ward Conflagration on October 28, 1892. He was caught under a falling wall and had his head severely cut and one of his feet badly crushed. This was the same fire that killed Third Assistant Chief A. Janssen.
