Includes numerous Portland Bureau of Police officer reports, juvenile reports, supplementary report, and related correspondence. The incidents in question are often racially charged, and involve African American / black citizens. These incidents took place at the Lloyd Center; a cafe on N. Mississippi St; Lair Hill Park; Pier Park Pool; and Paul's Club / Paul's Paradise. Also includes a class action lawsuit brought against Terry Schrunk, Francis Ivancie, William Bowes, Stanley Earl, and Donald McNamara, among others, by a group of African Americans alleging a consistent, systematic, continuing and repeated course of wrongful conduct to the irreparable injury of the plaintiffs and the class they represent.
