Left to right: T. Sgt. Roy C. Cameron, of Charleston; Major Otto W. Cahill, whose wife and mother life at Campbell Court Hotel, Portland; Corporal Robert L. Funk, 9630 NE Prescott St; Captain David B. Brandon, 2004 NE Halsey St; Captain Weldon T. Ross, 506 Evans St., McMinnville; and Mayor Riley. Major Cahill is base supply and maintenance officer, Corporal Funk is a sheet metal worker repairing battle damage on flying fortresses, Captain Brandon is the group's dental officer, and Captain Ross is a squadron flight surgeon. Sergeant Cameron, who formerly worked in Portland, finished an unusually long tour of combat operations the day before this picture was taken.
