Index map superimposed on a printed map of "Hanson and Gallow's Map of Portland and Vicinity," 1915. Map extends from Vancouver, Washington in the north, E 92nd St in the east, Milwaukie in the south, the Washington County line in the southwest, and St Johns in the northwest. Highlighted areas are in SW Portland. From typewritten note affixed to map: "Index to Areas Covered by Topographic Surveys Over a Portion of the Hills District West of the River. (This index map prepared in May, 1915, but the surveys themselves made many years before.) The area shaded in brown is that covered by the three-section map entitled "Park and Boulevard" system, indexed as 50-16 under "Maps". The area shaded in green in that covered by the O.R. & N. Blueprint map, indexed as 62-18 of "Maps". The area shaded in yellow is that covered by the large mounted map which is also indexed as 50-16. May, 1915"
