M/1679

Hand drawn map. "Contour map made from surveys in 1909 and 1910 by Bureau of Sewers, for use in planning 'Fulton Park and Carson Heights sewer system.' The proposed location of the trunk sewer is shown. Scale - 200 ft. - 1 inch. Contour intervals 10 feet. This survey was made before construction of the second tract of the Oregon Electric Railway, and before improvement of streets in Burlingame and Fulton Park. The datum is the regular working datum of the city. It will be noticed as to 7th Street north of the Southern Pacific that the street lay-out differs from that of our present 1/4 section sheets; this is because of vacation of certain curved streets and the dedication of the present 7th Street since the map was made, all as shown on our 1/4 section sheet No. 165 in the Street Acquirement Map Atlas. It will also be noted that the north part of the blocks 57 and 58 of Burlingame has been platted as Rolands Addition, including Roland Street which is not show [sic] on this contour map." Map is very fragile and already has several tape repairs.
