The Fish Committee was a Congressional House committee that investigated communist activities in the United States. The Committee was proposed by Congressman Hamiliton Fish in 1930. The article regards the Fish Committee's vist to Portland where they heard the testimony of : M. R. Bacon, police officer ; R. P. Bonham, district dierector of immigration and Walter B. O'Dale, police dectective. Bacon told the committee about how he joined the party and the investigation that he conducted before he became a member.
