A letter explaining what happened at the meeting with Mayor Riley and the City Council. The letter list out the demands that were made to the Mayor and explains what the Committee is going to do next, hold bigger meetings. The letter also states, "We want immediate relief and we want permanent homes in Portland - not slums. We are all Americans who believe in Democracy and we want no race discrimination in housing or otherwise."
