The goal of this document is to convince people that they need to defeat the Non - Compulsory Military Training Bill. Written on the top of the document, "Not being published - for friends of U of O only." The author, Don Thomas believes that democracy is in jeopardy at the University of Oregon. In his opinion subversives have made great inroads the last three years. The document lists speakers and student groups and organizations, he believes have ruined American principles, ideals and traditions. Two groups he discusses are the American Student Union and Oregon Committee for Peace and Freedom. Tom is in favor of keeping the R.OT.C.
