The film opens with an older lady sitting in an armchair and looking out the window. A man exits a house to read a book and smoke a cigar. A young woman walks along a city street an old automobile. The woman loads golf clubs into a car and talks to the camera. The film cuts to a camping site where a man prepares food in a tent and drinks alcohol. A man points a rifle at the camera. Two different men take turns sitting on a car's running board while smoking and loading rifles. A dead deer is carried through a forest on a man's back. The deer is butchered and hung from a tree. A man cleans dishes in a tent. The tent is dismantled and rolled up. A sign reads "Maggot Spring". A man smoking a pipe makes a snowball and throws it at the camera. A scene taken from inside a driving car is shot in possibly eastern Oregon. Men stand around a hanging dear carcass and remove its skin.
