Rose Festival Parades 1939 - 1940 and fireworks

The film opens with the 1939 parade, the newberg Float, Aher floats, and the Royal Rosarians marching up a street lined with large homes with hills in the background such as those viewed from SW Broadway.The Standard Railroad, First National Bank, and the Portland Fire Department floats finish the parade. View of fireworks at night and large figures lit up in lights. The Rose Parade of 1940 begins with the Pasadena and San Francisco floats, the Rotary float, the First National Bank Float, the Sears float, an international float, and ends with the Fire Department floats.
