Written on back of photograph : "View cutting down old runway to grade and leveling of land. 25,000 yards of dirt moved to Vancouver fill. This work done during September and October 1930 besides material hauled off 10,000 yards when hauled and cost to bring land to grade and level. Engineer employed and grade established."
