The photograph is from the trial trip for the Fireboat George H. Williams. This photo is an exact representation of a photograph accidentally resulting from two exposures on the same plate. The first exposure was made with the fire boat in the foreground and just as she was making a short turn down stream. As she arrived in the second position, the bulb was again pressed, and the result while not without precedent is at least noteworthy on account of its clearness and the peculiar relation as to position.
