Chemical Engine Company 1 crew and apparatus posing for a photograph in front of the station. The Driver is W.R. McAllister, standing by the front of the Chemical wagon is J.L. Masson, and standing at the back of the wagon is Captain C.O. Haines. This same photo is in the 1905 Fire Department yearbook on page 173. This station was originally the quarters for Multnomah Engine Company 2 of the original Volunteer Fire Department that served Portland from the Spring of 1851 to January 1, 1883.
