Riverfest 08-09 budget request

The Bureau of Planning requests a one-time-only provision of $50,000 to support the first annual Portland Riverfest, a River Renaissance sponsored event to celebrate the City’s relationship with the Willamette through water activities, art, and education. City funding will help leverage private support sufficient to defray the rest of the estimated $250,000 total cost.
