1) Legislation Title:

*Authorize contract with Oregon Trout for $15,000 to establish River Renaissance as a sponsor of 2008 Riverfest Celebration, help support event design and coordination, and provide for payment (Ordinance).

 

2) Purpose of the Proposed Legislation:

Authorize Purchasing Agent to enter into agreement with Oregon Trout, a nonprofit organization, for $15,000 to help the Bureau of Planning’s River Renaissance program sponsor coordination of the Portland Riverfest event.

 

3) Revenue:

Will this legislation generate or reduce current or future revenue coming to the City? If so, by how much? If new revenue is generated please identify the source. No new revenue.

 

4) Expense:

What are the costs to the City as a result of this legislation? What is the source of funding for the expense? (Please include costs in the current fiscal year as well as costs in future years) (If the action is related to a grant or contract please include the local contribution or match required)

 

The cost of the contract is in the Planning Bureau’s FY 2007-2008 budget for River Renaissance and will be carried over into the next year.
