SUBJECT:  Weekly report on the progress of the Lents Business Survey

Basic Logistics:  

A Field Manager has been hired. She has already trained all the canvassers.

Two full-time experienced canvassers were hired to work from

9:00AM-5:00PM. We do daily check-ins.

Ten Marshall High School students were hired to canvass from 3:00PM-

6:00PM. We rented a van to provide them with transportation and assist with

supervision. The students will go out in pairs.

Canvass Totals:

Number of completed surveys: 115

Number of businesses that said they would send survey to PDC: 28

Number of businesses contacted: 320

Questions:

1. What information do you want to include in the Excel database ie field names and

order of fields?

General:

 The canvass is off to a great start. We are on schedule to meet our deadlines. The students are eager to work on this project and we will make sure it is a positive
