Attending: Shanna Eller, Laura Feldman (Southeast Uplift), Alice Williams, Mark and Amy Hardin, Rudy, Carrie and Jennifer Currier, Barb Nickola. (Barb & Alice will act as coordinators for the project)

 

Ideas for info table at the Mt. Scott Celebration, 7/25:

 

Set up three tables (from SEUL) in a semi-circle

 

-Quiz with questions about info in display - prize

-Drawing contest for children & Parents: "Draw your Neighborhood"

-Mark your house or business on the map

-Bean bag toss into different slots that represent different issues/projects as a way of voting

-List of issues/projects which people mark with colored dots as a way of voting

-Go Fish--a game for asking questions about FTAP with prizes

-Cake Walk: business donate a square, and when someone lands on the square they get a free gift certificate

-trivia quiz/treasure hunt involving other parts of the display

 

Three activities chosen:

 

�Sticker Map/Sticky dot voting with additional comment page (Green for yes)

�Kid's coloring contest - with immediate display and prize

�Cake Walk featuring businesses

 

Alice will check on balloons (300)

Mark will check on ribbons (300)

Barb will create a list of volunteers

Laura/Shanna will bring site info, FTAP info, and list of businesses for donations

Amy will bring list of supplies needed for coloring contest

Rudy will bring list of supplies needed for cake walk, i.e. sound system

 

Possible Businesses:    Coffee Passion

       Planes, Trains & Hobbies

       Bernies

       Art Supply Store

       Maple Leaf

FTAP T-shirts/ribbons

 

Other items discussed:

 

-Have project info available and sign up sheets

-Clean-up: do in shifts all day, 5-6 volunteers
