GRANT AGREEMENT NO. 38117

Grant amendment with Resolutions NW for facilitation services for retreat for Diversity and Civic Leadership and District Coalition programs community leadership

Recitals:

1.  Pursuant to Ordinance No. 181995, a grant agreement for $257,859 was made and entered into by and between Resolutions NW, herein called grantee, and the City of Portland, a municipal corporation of the State of Oregon, by and through its duly authorized representatives with the Office of Neighborhood Involvement (ONI), hereinafter called the City.

2.  Funding for the grant agreement with Resolutions NW was included in ONI’s FY 2008-09 budget as authorized by Council ordinance #181995. The additional $1,500 is also from ONI’s FY 2008-09 general fund for work to be completed June 2009 for the Neighborhood Resource Center.

The contract is hereby amended as follows:

1.  Therefore, page 1, Section entitled AMOUNT OF GRANT (a), is deleted and replaced as follows:

CITY agrees to fund grant in an amount not to exceed $259,359 in fiscal year 2008-2009, provided terms and conditions of this grant are met.

2.  Therefore, page 2, Section I, B, 2, e. shall be added as follows:

Provide additional facilitation prep work in month of June 2009 in preparation for facilitation of retreat for Diversity and Civic Leadership and neighborhood District Coalition community leadership.

3.  Therefore, page 7, Section IV, A, 1, AMOUNT OF GRANT AND PAYMENTS, is deleted and replaced as follows:

Total grant award for fiscal year 2009 shall be $259,359. Total award is subject to reduction by City of Portland Council action.

4.  All other terms and conditions shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
