ORDINANCE No. 182926
*Amend grant agreement with Resolutions NW for an additional $1,500 for facilitation of retreat for Diversity and Civic Leadership and neighborhood District Coalition community leadership. (Ordinance; amend Contract No. 38117)
The City of Portland Ordains:
Section 1: The Council Finds:
1. This grant agreement provides financial resources to Resolutions NW (RNW) for the purpose of providing community-based mediation and conflict resolution facilitation services. RNW is facilitating a retreat with community leaders and staff of neighborhood District Coalitions and Diversity and Civic Leadership programs. Significant advance work is required that goes above and beyond services outlined in the existing contract.
2. Funding for the grant agreement with Resolutions NW were included in ONI’s 2008-09 Fiscal Year budget in the amount of $257,859 as authorized by Council ordinance #181995. The additional $1,500 is from ONI’s FY 2008-09 general fund for work to be completed June 2009.
Now therefore, the Council Directs:
a. The Director of ONI is authorized to execute on behalf of the City, this amendment to the grant agreement with Resolutions NW, in a form substantially in accordance with the grant amendment attached as Amendment 1.
Section 2. The council declares an emergency ordinance exists in order to avoid interruption in the continuity of services to be provided, therefore, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by Council.
