ORDINANCE NO. 182481
Authorize contract with Architectural Resources Group, Inc. and provide for payment for architectural and engineering services for Union Station Phase II Facility Improvements. (Ordinance)
The City of Portland ordains:
Section 1. The Council finds:
1. A Request for Proposals for a consultant to provide architectural and engineering services for Union Station Phase II Facility Improvements was issued July 31, 2008. Six proposals were received on August 28, 2008. A selection committee reviewed the proposals and recommended Architectural Resources Group, Inc. to provide the architectural and engineering services.
2. The Office of Management and Finance/Facilities Services has prepared an agreement to be entered into with Architectural Resources Group, Inc., substantially in conformance with the attached Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:
a. The Mayor and Auditor are hereby authorized to execute a contract with Architectural Resources Group, Inc., substantially in conformance with the attached Exhibit A, for architectural and engineering services for Union Station Phase II Facility Improvements in the amount of $145,057.
b. The Mayor and Auditor are hereby authorized to draw and deliver checks chargeable to the fiscal year 2008-09 budget of Facilities Services when demand is presented and approved by the proper authorities.
