ORDINANCE No. 180720

 

Amend an Interagency Agreement for Portland Parks and Recreation with the Portland Development Commission for professional and technical services for park improvements for FY 2006 – 2007 (Ordinance; amend Contract No. 52770)

 

The City of Portland ordains:

 

Section 1. The Council finds:

 

1.  The Council approved Ordinance No. 180291 authorizing Interagency Agreement Contract No. 52770 with PDC on July 5, 2006.

 

2.  PDC desires to use the professional and technical services of Portland Parks and Recreation to plan, design, and construct park

improvements in the Downtown Waterfront Urban Renewal District, requiring an amendment to the IAA for $1,000,000 with a $50,000 contingency, for a total amendment of $1,050,000.

 

3.  The time period will be FY 06-07 with total payment not to exceed $4,886,700 in accordance with this agreement.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, The Council Directs:

 

a.  The Commissioner of Public Utilities, the Parks Director, and the Auditor are hereby authorized to enter into an Interagency Agreement, similar in form to the agreement attached to the original of this Ordinance, and by this reference made a part hereof.

 

b.  The City project managers are authorized to agree to and execute on behalf of the City, any amendment of work scopes, which does not increase the total compensation under this agreement or change the length of the contract period with the mutual consent of the PDC project manager.
