ORDINANCE No. 180691

*Create a new Nonrepresented classification of Fire and Police Disability and Retirement Fund Director and establish a compensation rate for this classification. (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is creating a new Nonrepresented classification effective January 1, 2007.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following classification is being created:

JCN    Job Class          Range    Effective Date

7014    FPDR Fund Director        14    January 1, 2007

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
