Re: ResolutionAdopt Actions for Watershed Health, the 2005 Watershed Management Plan (Resolution)” – As Amended

 

Attached please find the above referenced Resolution with the following amendments:

 

1.  Page 2, second WHEREAS, inserted “, and in December 2004, City Council adopted the River Renaissance Strategy (Resolution 36276) as a guide for advancing and integrating City projects, plans and activities; and

 

2.  Page 3, first BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, changed language back to original definitions for the Portland Watershed Goals as appear in the Framework for Integrated Management of Watershed Health (December 2005)

 

3.  Page 4, added as last bullet to first BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, “The Framework for Integrated Management of Watershed Health (December 2005) shall continue to be used by the City as the scientific foundation for planning and decision-making related to watershed health; and”

 

4.  Page 4, 6th BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, changed “biennial” to “annual”

 

5.  Page 5, added “BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the aforementioned policies of this Resolution are considered non-binding city policies; and”

 

6.  Page 5, added “BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Actions for Watershed Health, the 2005 Watershed Management Plan is considered binding city policy.”
