Scope of Work

 

a.  Review current space utilization at BOEC/BTS facility

b.  Evaluate space needs (including personnel, equipment, customer service, storage and parking needs) for all tenants and operations currently at the BOEC/BTS facility and POEM

•  How can the space work the most efficiently for all tenants?

c.  Review existing security and site hardening requirements for an essential facility

d.  Provide short-term options for co-location of facilities

•  Identify how POEM and the EOC can fit into the current space including their need to expand beyond their offices and into other adaptable rooms within the facility

•  (Short term look will help us make long term suggestions of possible construction of new facility or expansion of current facility)

e.  Provide long-term suggestions to accommodate a fully functional EOC and POEM office area

f.  Provide advantages, disadvantages and estimated costs for each option.

Deliverables

 

Initial meeting with Project Manager

Meetings with key stakeholders of BOEC, BTS, and POEM

Monthly written report to Project Manager

Initial and final floor plans for projected short-term co-location of BOEC, BTS, EOC and POEM

Final report with all options on March 31, 2006

 

Work Experience

 

•  Must understand internal complex secure facilities

•  Must understand traffic flow of complex secure facilities

•  Background check and signed Nondisclosure Agreement (vendor)

•  Documents developed by vendor will be identified to be returned to the City
