RESOLUTION NO. 36358

Adopt revision to Basic Emergency Operations Plan as required by Title 15 of the City Code (Resolution)

WHEREAS,  City Code Section 15.12.010 states that the Director of Emergency Management supervises the Portland Office of Emergency Management and is directly responsible to the Mayor; and

WHEREAS,  City Code Section 15.12.020 states that the Portland Office of Emergency Management has the responsibility to recommend to the City Council a Basic Emergency Services Plan to assist the Mayor in the performance of his/her duties by this Code; and

WHEREAS,  The Office of Emergency Management has adapted the plan to be in compliance with the National Incident Management System and the National Response Plan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Basic Emergency Operations Plan is hereby adopted, substantially as set forth in Exhibit A, attached to this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution is non-binding city policy.
