*  Change the salary range of the Nonrepresented classification of Energy Conservation Program Manager

(Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is changing the salary range of a nonrepresented classification effective December 22, 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following classification is created:

   JCN  Job Class        Pay Grade    Effective Date

       7232  Energy Conservation       11      12/22/04

       Program Manager

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
