ORDINANCE No. 178986

*  Create a new Nonrepresented classification of Enterprise Business Systems Project Manager and establish a compensation rate for this classification. (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is creating a new classification effective December 22, 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following classification is being created:

 JCN  Job Class        Range    Effective Date

 7511  Enterprise Business Systems    14    December 22, 2004

     Project Manager    

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
