ORDINANCE No. 178863

*  Create a new Nonrepresented classification of Accounting Policy Manager and establish a compensation rate for this classification. (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is creating a new classification effective November 10, 2004.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following classification is being created:

 JCN  Job Class        Range      Effective Date

 7367  Accounting Policy Manager    9      November 10, 2004

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
