ORDINANCE No. 178148

*  Change the salary range of the Nonrepresented classification of Alarm Program Coordinator. (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is changing the salary range of a nonrepresented classification effective July 1, 2002.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following compensation rate is being changed:

 JCN  Job Class        Salary Range    Effective Date

 7906  Alarm Program Coordinator    5 to 6      July 1, 2002

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
