My name is Lisa Rohleder and I founded Working Class Acupuncture in 2002 so Iβve been a small business person in Cully for 23 years. (I live in Cully too). Iβve also been on the Advisory Committee for Our 42nd. I wanted to speak on behalf of my own small business and other small businesses in Cully. To echo earlier comments, the storefront improvement grants have been very helpful to us but there has not been funding for them for some time. Inflation continues to be a challenge for all the small businesses I know and now tariffs have been added to the list of uncertainties. Itβs a challenge for us to pay for necessary storefront improvements either as a response to vandalism, or bad weather, or just normal wear and tear. .

Please know that the small businesses of Cully continue to need support to navigate our current economic environment and we greatly appreciate any help you can give us. The NPNs made a huge difference to us, especially during COVID, and we hope their good work can continue.
