Subject: 3/21 PCEF Committee meeting materials - feedback requested

Hi PCEF Committee,

I hope you all are out and enjoying the beautiful weather. Below are materials in preparation for your meeting next week:

  1. Discussion draft for PCEF 2024 process (linked here)
    1. The linked draft above captures revisions we’ve made to the draft that Megan and Ranfis developed following the small group discussions we had last week. Please review the draft document and let us know if you have any questions or feedback by 5pm next Tuesday, March 15.
  1. 3/21 draft Committee meeting agenda (linked here)
    1. This next meeting is an entirely online Zoom virtual meeting.
    2. The agenda primarily focuses on the Committee deciding on a proposal solicitation process and framework. However, we still need to decide on a few Committee workgroups and subcommittee. I believe we just need 1-2 folks to serve on the recruitment subcommittee.
    3. For folks that have previously asked, you can find a lot of content related to the CIP development, including public comments, here.
  1. Recent PCEF-related media:
    1. There’s been lots of recent PCEF-related media, so I’m highlighting just one below and including a pdf listing several others.

i. 3/13, Willamette Week, https://www.wweek.com/news/city/2024/03/13/as-gonzalez-ramps-up-effort-to-remodel-pcef-tax-community-groups-plan-a-defense/

ii. All other recent PCEF-related media and mentions can be found here.

  1. Public comment received:
    1. Prior to 3/1/24 (linked here)
    2. Since 3/1/24 (linked here)

Enjoy the sunny weather and as always feel free to ring me if you have any questions next week.

-Sam
