ORDINANCE NO. 177102
* Contract with Campbell DeLong Resources, for an amount not to exceed $25,000, to provide data collection and analysis for a community survey. (Ordinance)
The City of Portland ordains:
Section 1. The Council finds:
1. The Bureau of Police is in need of data collection services to assess how well the community views the Portland Police Bureau is achieving its mission.
2. Services will include data collection, statistical and narrative analysis, providing a formal written report of the results, the results in electronic format, formal presentation of the results and Strategic Plan recommendations.
3. Campbell DeLong Resources was selected by a committee acting in accordance with Chapter 5.68 of the City Code, Professional Services Contracts.
4. The cost of the services is not to exceed $25,000.
NOW, therefore, the Council directs:
a. The Mayor and City Auditor are hereby authorized to enter into the contract between the City of Portland and Campbell DeLong Resources attached as Exhibit 1.
Section 2. The Council declares that an emergency exists because delay in proceeding with this agreement will unnecessarily deprive the City of Portland and Campbell DeLong Resources of the mutual benefits of this agreement; therefore this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its passage by the Council.
