Eastside Streetcar Alignment Study

Scope of Services

 

GENERAL

 

Based on the Central City Plan recommendation to develop an inner-city transit loop, the objective of the Eastside Streetcar Alignment Study (ESAS) is to recommend a Streetcar alignment that connects eastside locations including the Lloyd District, Central Eastside Industrial Area, OMSI and a future Milwaukie LRT line and the existing Streetcar line between S.W. 23rd and RiverPlace/North Macadam using the Broadway and Hawthorne Bridges; to recommend a segment of the eastside Streetcar alignment as a project for early implementation and the steps necessary to implement it.

 

TASKS

 

1.  Project management

 

1.1  Assist with the development of an RFP for certain services and process to select consultant team and negotiate contracts

1.2  Prepare and monitor a schedule for carrying out the ESAS

1.3  Conduct bi-weekly technical team meetings

1.4  Conduct other coordination meetings

1.5  Review project technical data

1.6  Develop and implement a public information plan

1.7  Maintain/distribute meeting minutes

 

2.  Alternative routes

 

2.1  Develop alternative alignment routes based on the following potential segments:
