AMENDMENT No. 1 TO CONTRACT No. 34508

BETWEEN THE CITY OF PORTLAND, OREGON, AND

ECONOMIC AND ENGINEERING SERVICES INC. (EES)

 

CORROSION CONTROL TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND WORKSHOP

 

In consideration for their mutual promises, the parties agree as follows:

 

1.  The AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL, TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL (PTE) SERVICES (Exhibit A) of the contract with Economic and Engineering Services, Inc. is for the project identified as the Corrosion Control Technical Advisory Committee and Workshop. The contract is changed to provide for additional services beyond the PTE Informal Process level. The Contractor shall provide services to the City according to the scope of work, schedule and fees as specified in the attached submittal, “ Scope of Work for Corrosion Control Technical Advisory Committee and Workshop” dated October 2, 2002.

 

2.  The COMPENSATION for the additional project services of the contract is increased by an amount not to exceed $42,000; total project costs shall not exceed $62,000.

 

3.  The effective date of this amendment to the contract shall be October 17, 2002 (or on the date at which every party has signed this amendment, whichever is later). The contract shall expire, unless otherwise terminated or extended, on June 30, 2003.

 

4.  All other terms and conditions of Contract No.34508 remain the same.
