Re: Historic Preservation Fund grant

Dear Mayor Katz,

We are forwarding the attached ordinance authorizing acceptance of a Historic Preservation Fund grant for this year. The Historic Preservation Fund grant amount is $25,000. The grant will supplement the City’s historic resources program, including amendments to historic resources code regulations and developing incentives that promote historic preservation. Match requirements are met within the Bureau of Planning’s general fund allocation for FY 02-03.

The State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) invited the Bureau of Planning to apply for a Historic Preservation Fund grant. City Council approved the application by Ordinance #176477.
