Description

This vehicle will be an upgrade from a mid-size sedan, to be used for daily transportation of the Assistant Fire Marshal. He carries a set of fire fighting turnouts, extra equipment including arson investigation tools, and first aid equipment. He is subject to emergency callback during greater alarm fires, fire deaths, and other major incidents. The vehicle will also serve as a backup car for the Chief Investigator.

The upgrade is requested primarily for ergonomic reasons as the Assistant Fire Marshall has a difficult time getting into and out of a mid-size sedan.

The Water Bureau has turned in a vehicle, which is excess to their needs and would be available for use by the Fire Bureau.
