Description

The Bureau is in the process of replacing a Caterpillar Scoop with a backhoe. They use this equipment to construct and repair drainage sites throughout the City. The current vehicle is unable to dig and pull out large trees, roots, and obstacles in the drainage route. An upgrade to the backhoe type of equipment will allow the work to be done more effectively.

This request is to obtain a rental Backhoe for the period of time until the purchase can be accomplished. It will continue a 6-month rental ($10,800), which is currently in effect, for another 6-8 months (an additional $14,400).
