Description

The Bureau would like to upgrade from cargo vans to ¾ ton utility pickups, which will be used for marking utility locations in the street and at potential construction areas. The work requires a lot of small equipment. Getting the equipment in and out of cargo vans has proved to be difficult. The employees end up spending a lot of time bent over inside the vans, and climbing in and out constantly. The utility pickups would facilitate much easier access to the small equipment. This would also make the work go faster, and hence improve efficiency.
