ORDINANCE No. 176690

*  Create a new Nonrepresented classification of Security Supervisor and establish a compensation rate for the class (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  In accordance with the policies established by the City Council and based on a classification and compensation review, the Bureau of Human Resources is creating a new Nonrepresented classification effective 7/1/02.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following classifications are created:

   JCN  Job Class        Pay Grade    Effective Date

       1735  Security Supervisor       6      7/1/02

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that this classification and compensation action may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
