ORDINANCE No. 176321

*  Create two part-time positions in the Bureau of Environmental Services. (Ordinance)

The City of Portland ordains:

Section 1. The Council finds:

1.  The Bureau of Human Resources has prepared this Ordinance creating two part-time positions for the Bureau of Environmental Services in accordance with the policies established by the City Council. (Ordinance)

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council directs:

a.  The following part-time positions are created:

   JCN  Job Class        Bureau      Effective Date

   4124  Botanic Specialist II      BES      01-17-02

Section 2.  The Council declares that an emergency exists in order that these classification and compensation actions may occur without delay; therefore, this ordinance shall be in force and effect from after its passage by the Council.
